Renewable energy sources will save money in the long run, greatly benefit the Earth, and protect the U.S.'s economy from overdependence on foreign nations. Initial steps have been taken and some alternative energy sources are already being used, but on too small a scale. Alternative energies are the future, and the U.S. must work harder to implement them to a greater extent.
