There once was a time when animals were revered for their beauty, and nature was regarded as the giver of life. However, mankind has evolved into a species indifferent to the vast suffering it causes when it seeks to advance its own goals. Numerous endangered animals and senseless death have resulted from a lack of consideration of nature and its inhabitants. From activities like hunting, poaching, logging, pollution, over exploitation, and countless others, mankind has shrunk natural habitats and reduced wildlife's ability to survive and reproduce. As students, we must take become active in preventing further depredation and do our part to help ensure the survival of some of Earth's most exotic and majestic creatures.
