Student Council has permanently
adopted the Mussell family as their
Adopt-a-family. Because Mr. Mussell was such an
integral part of our school, we felt it was important to
ensure that the family would be provided for during the
upcoming years.The Mussell
family has 5 children under the age of 8 and will have many
needs for the holiday and in the future. If any staff
member would like to make a donation, please make a check
out to Schaumburg High School and place it in the mailbox of
Paul Duffy,
Jen Schutte, or
Jessica Wienke.
On Thursday, December 7th, Student
Council will be hosting
Tom Mussell Night at the
opening
basketball game. During the game, Student Council will
be hosting a raffle with all the proceeds going to the Mussell family. We will be raffling off gift
certificates to local restaurants and retailers, Turnabout
tickets and Prom tickets, and a chance to shoot a basketball
from half-court for a $50 prize.
Students will be selling the raffle
tickets for Prom tickets on Wednesday, 12/6 and Thursday
12/7 during lunch hours. A separate raffle will be
held at the game for Turnabout tickets, gift certificates
and the chance to win $50 by shooting a basket from half
court.
