Education

I attended Maine West High School in Des Plaines, IL.  There I was actively involved in softball, soccer, National Honor's Society, class and student council. 

I attended  Illinois State University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Education.      

I attended Olivet Nazarene University and received a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

I attended Northern Illinois University and received a Master's Degree in School Administration.

Experience

This is my sixth year in the teaching profession and I am proud to be a Saxon!  My years at SHS has given me a solid professional background to assist and guide me on my journey of teaching.  I am very excited to be the department chair for the 2008-2009 school year

Professional Organizations

Business education is an area of education that is ever-changing.  I strive to stay current with technology and the business curriculum.  I am a member of the Illinois Business Education Association (IBEA) and the National Business Education Association (NBEA).

Interests

I love spending my time watching or attending different sporting events.  I am a big fan of the Chicago Cubs, there is nothing better than a summer day at Wrigley Field.  I also love the Chicago Bears, however I have never been to a game.  This football season it is my goal to attend!!  I also love spending time watching movies with my friends and family.
