ABOUT ME

I graduated from Prospect High School in 2000. I was a member of the tennis team for four years as well as many clubs such as Student Council, Service Club, NHS, Outdoor Club and Choir.

I went to the University of Illinois in Champaign to major in Accounting. I graduated and did an internship with the public accounting firm Deloitte and Touche. I received my masters degree in secondary education at Roosevelt University. I substitute taught in District 214 and did my student teaching at Lake Park High School.

This is my 3rd year here at Schaumburg, and I teach Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Consumer Education and Business Law. I'm the JV girls tennis coach, JV boys tennis coach, and the sponsor for BPA and Lifesmarts.

My interests are music, animals (I currently have two dogs, three large tortoises, 2 flying squirrels, a chinchilla, and a tarantula), running( I just ran my first marathon two years ago) and pretty much any kind of sports. I  volunteered at a zoo near Green Lake, Wisconsin for 8 years taking care of lions, cougars, tigers and bears. If I'm not teaching or grading papers you will find me on the tennis courts, running, skiing (water or snow), playing basketball or sitting in front of the T.V. watching college sports (Don't ever make fun of my Illini or I will write you up). I also, unfortunately, am a diehard Cubs fan.

I have one younger sister who is a senior at Madison and on the water ski team there, and an older sister and older brother. Now you know more about me than you ever wanted to know!
