- is currently working on a Ph.D. in Educational Administration at Illinois State University.

When she's not grading papers, Ms. Ryan likes to watch and perform in sketch comedy and improvisation shows at Second City and IO (formerly ImprovOlympic) in Chicago.
Ms. Ryan has two sisters; one is an attorney, and the other is a high school history teacher.
