	OPERATION: Students who are successful in completing Child Development during the first semester of the school year are allowed to enroll in the Preschool Lab. Participation in the Lab affords students the hands on opportunity to work directly with a variety of children. Students are required to plan and develop lessons which promote social, emotional, and intellectual development. These lessons are implemented by our students who perform the role of "teacher" . Weekly activities include: art projects, songs and fingerplays, flannel boards, pre-reading and pre-math activities, structured free play time, and a light snack. Each child is paired with a student to achieve a 1:1 ratio; time is spent on on an individual basis as well as in small and large group activities. return to top of page
	REQUIREMENTS: Children enrolling in Sunshine Saxon Preschool should be 3 1/2 years old by the beginning of the term (mid February). All children must be toilet trained. return to top of page
