PA Announcement by Schaumburg High School Principal Tim Little

Please excuse this interruption.

Attention all students and staff, this is Mr. Little.

An obscure, non-credible threat was found in a bathroom stall in a restroom here at Schaumburg High School.

We are working with the Schaumburg police to investigate the circumstances of this obscure message.  We do not believe this is a credible threat, but none-the-less we are taking all measures to assure a safe and secure environment.

School will be in session tomorrow.  Additional Schaumburg police officers will be present with us Thursday and Friday.  Please welcome them, as they are present for your benefit.

Entry to the school on Thursday and Friday will be restricted to Entrance #10. However, the specific group of students who typically use Entrance #5 should continue to do so.  Otherwise, all students and staff are to use Entrance #10.  Again, although we do not consider this a viable threat, we are taking precautions as though it is.

We are confident you will be safe at Schaumburg High School and we are taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of all students and staff members.

If anyone has any information about a person or persons who have made threats, please contact me at once.
