The Schaumburg Sextant student newspaper is written, edited, and laid out by the students of Schaumburg High School for the information, enlightenment, and enjoyment of the student body. Our newspaper not only reports Saxon news and sports, but also offers creative reviews, feature stories, and editorials. The Sextant staff meets at least twice a week for evaluation, planning, and layout. In addition to the publication, the Sextant is also will be available online through the Schaumburg High School's "Web site" and "Digital City" Schaumburg. Senior editors have the opportunity to write a school news column for the Daily Herald.
