IHSA Chess Tournament Info

Welcome back to CHESS TEAM!

We will practice every Thursday in room 128 from 3 to 5pm, all are welcome to the practices! On Thursdays, a meet (Chess competition against another school) will usually follow from 4:30 to 6:30pm. Please plan accordingly!

How do I join?

All are welcome to come to our weekly practices to learn the strategies of chess, and more importantly, to HAVE FUN! For competition, only eight students will be able to actually play (this opportunity is based upon rank, maturity, and dedication). Members that do not earn this invitation to play competitvely will be allowed to spectate if they remain quiet during the match.
