What is Orchesis?
In Greek, the word "orchesis" means "the art of
movement."

SHS Orchesis consists of members who work together throughout the school year. Orchesis seeks to provide a supportive and productive environment for the exploration of choreography and performance through various productions. Additionally, Orchesis should make it their goal to increase self-esteem in its members, promote consistent academic performance, and encourage leadership qualities and life-long social skills.
