The Schaumburg Scholastic Bowl Team gives student a chance to test their curricular and trivial knowledge against students from other schools .

        A match consists of two five-member teams trying to be the first to answer  a broad range of questions . The team that most quickly answers correctly the greatest number of questions wins . Students can earn varsity letters as they participate in MSL/IHSA sanctioned league play and tournaments . Additionally, students will compete in the biannual Knowledge Master national Academic competition . This is a 200 question computerized exam ,during which team members have seven seconds per question to confer and answer correctly in order to score the greatest number of possible points .

         Student earn positions on team through demonstrating knowledge in the various subject areas and by positively participating in the practices . Matches and practices are held weekly from the end of October to March .
