"The other
side of the wall" is going to be a regular update
available to you as the construction of our three story
addition unfolds. It is an attempt to give
everyone in the Schaumburg Community a "birds-eye view"
of the work as it progresses. It will include
description, as well as pictures. You can click on
each picture to enlarge it as well.
Can't Keep Up!
I can see
noticeable changes every time I look at "the other side
of the wall." It's amazing how quickly a structure
can be built! We are now on schedule for a June 08
completion date. The building is 80% "closed up".
The obvious open space is on the east end by entrance 2.
This is where the east stairwell will be.
Items of note for November include:
The field brick was delivered Nov. 1st.
The accent brick will arrive Nov. 15th.
The iron workers will complete their work
on the west end and in the penthouse.
The concrete for the stairwell landings
will be poured.
The first floor duct work will be
delivered.
The windows will be measured and framed.
Steel columns will be erected on the west end.
The electricians continue their work in the stairwell
areas.
The installation of the roof on the penthouse will be
completed.
Much much more....but in the interior where we can't
see!

located.

What are these?
Mason silos. They distribute the
mortar before mixing.
