How should I dress when I attend an event?

 

Because you are a professional Debater, and because you represent Schaumburg High School, you will want to dress for success.

 

Men:  Please wear dress pants and a button-down shirt. 

Then, you may choose between either a tie or a blazer… both, if you rock (but have at least one).

 

Women:  Please wear dress pants and a nice top. 

If you wear a skirt, it must be below the knee.

 

Do I need to bring anything else?

 

Yes.  Please bring a leather / pleather brief (folder) to hold a legal pad (big, long paper) and all of your RESEARCH!

Also, have a few pens!

 

For L/D:  Please acquire a digital egg timer!  Awareness of speaking length is critical.
