How do I achieve Varsity Status?

 

1.  Meet all of the appropriate criteria as outlined by the Schaumburg Debate Team (below)

1.  Print out this form

2.  Present to the Secretary of the Schaumburg Chapter of the National Forensic League for approval and signature (items i, ii, iii, iv, v)

3.  Present to the Research Chair for approval and signature (item vi)

4.  Present to Mr. Schwartz for approval and signature (item vii)

5.  Present to Mr. Robin for final approval and signature

 

 

Varsity Criteria:

1. be at least a junior

2. have not missed more than 3 competitive (W) practices per season

3. have attended at least 1 instructional (M, T, TH, F) practice per week

4. have attended at least 3 Congress tournaments during the year

5. have attended at least 3 LD and/or PF tournaments during the year

6.  have submitted your all Congress research on time (with high quality)

7. have written your LD cases (aff-neg) on time
