The Senior recognition concert is Tuesday, May 2o at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $2.00 for reserved seats and may be purchased starting May 1.
The District 211 Honors Choir sang on Saturday, April 26 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Hoffman Estates. 96 students representing all five District 211 high schools performed the Mozart Requiem with the Schaumburg Youth Orchestra. The performance was conducted by Marty Sirvatka from Glenbrook South High School and 19 SHS Choir members participated. Congratulations to SHS Choir senior Sarah Fallon for being selected as the soprano soloist.
The 7th and 8th Grade Choruses from Robert Frost Junior High and Jane Addams Junior High joined the SHS Choirs in a Choral Festival Concert on Wednesday, April 2. There were over 275 singers on the program. For more photos from this concert click on the Multimedia page.

The SHS Concert Choir sang the National Anthem for the Chicago Rush Arena Football home opener on Monday, March 3. The Rush opened their season on March 3 against San Jose at the Allstate Arena at 8:00 p.m. and the game was carried on ESPN2.
The SHS Choirs presented their mid-winter concert on Thursday, February 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Featured on the program was the Concert Choir, Girls Chorus I and II and the Choraliers. SHS Orchestra Director Ms. Susan Young was a guest performer.
The IMEA/All-State Music Festival was in Peoria on January 31 to February 2. Four SHS students performed in the festival concerts including SHS Concert Choir member Dan Shaw.
