Simulators

Use a simulator to experiment with sizes, lengths and weights before you build.  You can download these from websites at home or use the one I bring to class.  They typically cost around $15.  The one I downloaded comes in Mac and PC and can be found by following this link: The Algorithmic Beauty of the Trebuchet.
